Why we exist

Our mission is rooted in water and human dignity.

We serve from a Christian foundation, bringing together safe water, useful knowledge and community participation as pathways toward self-sustaining life.

Equipping people for self-sustaining life

We are a Christian, ecumenical organization committed to serving marginalized people in developing countries. For us, safe water is more than an isolated intervention: it is an entry point for health, knowledge, local participation and durable community capability.

“Our mission is to demonstrate Jesus' love by working with marginalized people in developing countries to equip them for self-sustainable life through accessing, using, and maintaining safe water.”

Our vision

We envision a world where every person has access to safe water and knows the sacrificial love of Jesus that offers eternal life.

What guides us

  • We value community participation rather than a purely outside-led model.
  • We pair education and practical skills with access to safe water.
  • We emphasize local use and maintenance as part of long-term sustainability.
  • We express our faith through practical service that honors human dignity.
Our storyBY PROVISION was founded in 2000. Across our history, safe water, education and community capability have remained at the heart of how we describe our purpose.
